In recent months, Covid-19 has led to a permanent increase in the use of digital experiences. The inability to hold physical events, combined with the growing adoption rate of these tools, has rewritten the rules of events, creating new opportunities for forms of engagement that are now more effective and efficient than ever: digital events.
Digital events, however, do not always deliver the level of immersion and engagement we all aim to provide to our audiences. For this reason, as a TRO network and in collaboration with our internal creative technology unit, Cassette, we have developed and launched a new service for our clients: a proprietary Virtual Experience Platform.
Through scenarios recreated entirely in 3D, our Virtual Experience Platform can host events in fully virtual and easily navigable environments for users.
The advantage of our Virtual Experience Platform is undoubtedly the experience – extremely faithful to that of physical events – with paths that can be adapted for both entertainment and commercial spaces, such as trade shows and retail outlets.
The fidelity of the graphic reproduction achieves photorealistic levels thanks to the use of Unreal Engine, the most powerful graphics engine in the world. Moreover, users are not just spectators; they can also interact – by clicking on various hotspots within the virtual environment – to view informational content, communicate via live video chat with staff, and then be directed to external web pages where they can find more information or even purchase products directly.
The experience, also accessible via mobile devices, leverages the web’s potential. Users are never required to download any apps, ensuring easy accessibility.
We would like to remind you that, in addition to the Virtual Experience Platform, as Inventa TRO, we are also active in creating Digital Conventions and Hybrid Events, which are already in production for multilingual national and international events.
The search for valid alternatives to physical events challenges companies to step up and offer their audiences new formats—immersive, interactive, and distinct from the passive conference calls that everyone has grown tired of.
The good news? People are eager to try them.
